Future Water Precincts

How do we transform planning to create new localised resilient water supply, energy-positive precincts and systems at least cost and with greatest benefits?

This theme informs the development of new circular precinct and infrastructure designs seeking to recycle wastewater and use stormwater more. While the Water Sector is actively pursuing mainstreamed renewable energy (e.g., Solar PV), implementation of a wide range of other strategies to increase energy output and to time-shift demand have not progressed , nor has integrated water-energy planning design, and evaluation of circular, efficient energy positive precincts.
