Ilje Pikaar is an associate professor in the School of Civil Engineering since 2020. He has been implementing research and education in the areas of environmental engineering since the completion of his PhD in 2012 at the University of Queensland.

His main research interest:
Environmental electrochemistry, integrated urban waste and water management, resource recovery, and remediation of contaminated materials.
